Take Frequent Breaks

Not something that an entrepreneur wants to hear right? But it is important to ensure you are looking after your health as such as possible. If you are not healthy, you are of no use to anyone. So do your health checks, exercise regularly and eat well.

Don’t check your emails while you are out of office

Easier said than done right? There are some tips and tricks you can use in ensuring you are working as efficiently as possible.

The one is to switch off your alerts on your phone and emails, so you have to allocate time to checking them, rather than being disturbed all the time when you are hearing your alerts.

This will help you be more productive over the day.

Start a personal project

It is important to still keep hobbies, see friends and make time for your family when you are going full speed ahead.

Schedule these times and make them non negotiable’s in your diary. Your body and brain will thank you in the long run.

Limit your office hours to maximum 8 hours a day

When you are starting out, it is easy to spend all day and all night at the grindstone, but sleep, exercise and giving your brain time to relax and recoup is critical.

Give yourself a hard cut off time and ensure you stop working, switch off your phone and relax.  You will be more productive for it.
